Very barebones, and just dissimilar enough from the website to make it kinda frustrating to use for more than quick comment replies, when they can actually be made from your phone in the first place. Otherwise, it is at least a bit less heavy than the website, but it can _still_ bring my S24 Ultra to its knees on long issue threads, big PRs, or large code files. Navigation is also less than ideal. Basically, it feels like a good effort, but beta quality at best.

I love GitHub, but my experience with the mobile app has been disappointing. While it has potential, it often feels limited in functionality. For many tasks I find myself required to check if the app can handle them, which is frustrating. I expected a more robust experience from an app designed for developers. With some improvements and expanded features, it could be a fantastic tool for managing projects on the go. For now, it’s a decent app, yet it doesn’t quite meet my expectations.

Terrible mobile UX, even viewing commit details doesn't let you view the list of changed files, you can only scroll through the expanded content of all of them. For tiny commits it's usable, otherwise it's just stupid. Your designers are bad. If you think you're being clever with your mobile "responsive" design, just add a setting where we can disable it and view a full website, using a desktop agent, and use our multi-touch to zoom and interact with the page to keep absolutely all functionality
